We’re back! This has been quite the month for us! We have been so busy with not only the EP but with also putting future plans in place for Sephira. More news on future plans will follow within the next few months. We are dying to fill you in and we are not purposely trying to tease. Let’s just say, it will be worth the wait.
To make up for that lack of info, we will give you a little more inside information on the Eternity EP process! The final mix and mastering of the bonus track, Miracle was completed yesterday and all the beautiful artwork has been finalized. We are so lucky to have a very patient graphic designer who finds our perfectionist natures (not mentioning any names!) quite endearing!
All of you, who are patiently waiting for your pre-orders, will not be disappointed! This Limited Edition Eternity EP is most definitely going to be a collector’s item. The pre-order bundle includes:
- A signed Eternity CD
- A personalized letter
- A surprise Bonus gift for all pre-order purchases.

In other news, as you may already know, Sephira featured on a TV special, Michael Londra’s “Beyond Celtic” in 2011. The TV special has just been nominated for 2 Emmys which is fantastic news for all involved. In case you haven’t already seen Sephira’s performance of “Misirlou”, take a look! It is now part of an Emmy nominated show!
Before we leave you, we would like to wish all the wonderful Moms out there, a very Happy Mother’s Day! We have a wonderful Mom of our own who we love so much and we still learn a little more from her every day. xx
Lots of love,
R & J xx
“The special guests, the international duet Sephira, is a talented, well-rehearsed sister act from Ireland known for their beautiful voices as well as the mastery and excitement of their violins. Sisters Joyce and Ruth O’Leary have toured the world with their music. The excitement of their playing together is infectious.” — Albert Goodwyn, SF Performing Arts Examiner
“Joyce and Ruth O’Leary, of the Irish group Sephira, were in Wellesley on Friday night to celebrate their new album, “Starlight.’’ They partied at A.M. DePrisco jewelers with Zack Lo, the local designer who’s responsible for the shoes the women wear on their album cover. Lo told us yesterday that he met the O’Learys through Irish-bred, New York fashion maven Jacqueline Quinn, who designed the duo’s gowns. He said the shoes were designed for them specifically, and that he calls them “Blue Violin.’’ Friday’s party guests included comedian Steve Sweeney, sportscaster Chris Collins, and stylist Lisa Koplow.” — Mark Shanahan and Meredith Goldstein, The Boston Globe
“Classical cross-over duo Sephira recently performed at AM De Prisco Jewelers in Wellesley, MA to launch their new Christmas album Starlight. The event combined Sephira’s beautiful music with Celtic Christmas couture to create a unique shopping experience. nn Eastman and Ruth O’Leary. On the day Sephira, comprised of violinist/vocalist sisters Ruth and Joyce O’Leary, provided a complimentary autographed copy of Starlight for all guests. The album includes Christmas classics like “Oh Holy Night” and “Sleigh Ride,” as well as more modern holiday-suited songs such as a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”.” — By Lorelei Vener, The Boston Irish Emigrant
